Facing on gentle slopes of Beaujolais Vineyard, the Côte de Berne Domain is situated in Blacé commune, near administrative capital: Villefranche-sur-Saône.

It spreads over on hillsides of A.O.P.  Brouilly, Morgon « Grand Cras », Juliénas, Moulin-à-Vent, Beaujolais-Villages and Beaujolais red, white and  rosé.

SANDRIN’S name was first mentioned on a 17th century register. The first vintage in the commune of Blacé is dated from 1870’s.

During the 20th century, the domain has evolved in prunning and technicity. And for the 21st century, new crus and Chardonnay grape variety arrived.

In a 80 years old vineyards, the grapes ripen thanks the passion of SANDRIN family. They’re handpicked before being vinified in a vatting that is dated from 1900 but with all modernities.

In 3 to 80 years old vineyard, the know-how of the Côte de Berne Domain evolved along the last decades.

We vinify 16,5 hectares (= 41,5 acres) where Gamay is the main grape variety. But it’s not the only one, we also find a white grape variety: Chardonnay.

In our vineyards, we practice rational pest control in order to respect the environment.
